Well just like 20 minutes ago I finished watching Rudy with my housemate. Good movie

btw, I'm trying to find this out online, but do you all know the musical theme from that movie? I swear its been used in lots of other movies. But I haven't seen anything referencing that online.

Julius Caesar, I have to write a paper on the accuracy of a historically based movie. It's director was a nobody named Uli Edel. It was a 2002 film and was really good, and was very true to history, the only glaring mistakes were having Caesar's assassination in the Senate building when it really happened in Pompey's Theatre because the senate building was under renovation, showing Cassius being the first to stab Caesar when it was actually another senator, Casca. Other then that it was extemely true to history, especially the Seige of Alesia. Most of the actors seemed to have been British. Pompey must be from Brooklyn and Cassius's Italian accent was so strong it was funny.

reds4ever, oh yeah she's definitely nasty for a mainstream pornstar.

Chemical Ollie, that's one of my favourite movies! Did you see the uniforms Russians wear? What a crazy idea in a jungle.. but the ending scene is great. He 'fakes' death with his little chopper oh and before that, how about the 360 with miniguns singing 6 feet from the ground? That was priceless.

You are confusing the movies. Rambo 3 was in Afghanistan. But Rambo 2 has it's idiotic scenes too, as you point out. Like when he plays dead and then fires an RPG from inside the helicopter, without any back blast. Some IRA terrorists (I think it was) tried that in London some years ago. They became a nice BBQ inside their van when the back blast of the RPG grilled them.

Oh you're correct.. my bad. About the back blast, that was great one too, seems like everyone caught that little detail as well . Makes it all the more better though.

But it's really inspiring to see that with little Huey you can fight off a real chopper meant for combat, fully armed. You just need to be sneaky like that.

Watched Return of the Jedi tonight. Man, is that juvenile. The first inklings of Lucas' dark descent into self-indulgent crap production shone through on Endor it seems.

It looks beautiful, but the changes (often unnecessary, anyway) are not always helpful. The addition of Haden Christiansen at the end is an utter travesty.

Hadn't heard that, had you? Yes, it's true. Instead of older Anakin's spirit at the end, we now have Christiansen looking on with Obi-wan and Yoda.

As an aside, for the first time I noticed that in that scene, Obi-wan places his hand on Yoda's shoulder. Aren't they supposed to be noncorporeal? Sloppy!

Of course, the movie has enough plot holes to drive a truck through anyway.

My wife handed me Jersey Girl to take back to the video store this morning.

"But we never watched it," I said.
"Yes we did, we watched it Friday night."
"Er... oh, right."

Either the movie is completely forgettable or I was drunk. Or both.
