We will be changing ISPs come Thursday (BROADBAND!), and I don't know how long our current account will still be open. Depending on when this service gets cut off and the new service beings, I could be out of action for some days (though hopefully not all that long).
And, while I'm at it, one other annoucment: This will be may last term as consul - I have no intent of running again in the December elections. These past nine months as your consul have been wonderful, though it's now time for me to step aside in favor of new, fresh leadership. Besides, time constraints are piling up for me, and I feel that I can't provide efffective service as consul during the remainder of the current school year - I feel terrible for not being here as much as I should have during this last term.
I'm actually flattered that I'm making this annoucment - If you had told me at the outset of the PTWISDG, as newly-elected President of the CFC Team, that in two years' time I'd be serving as a leader of THIS team, I would not have believed you one bit. I thank all of you for your support.
Of course, I don't plan on disappearing just yet - I hope to spend a little time helping around here when I can. And, maybe one day when I run out of things to keep me busy, I just may come back looking for my old consular seat...
