Carolus, if you'd rather I not interact with the kibutzers, just say the word and I'll devote my entire attention (well, most of it ) to the game.
But, in the meantime, Smash, I'm curious (and hopefully not too defensive sounding). Was my c6xd4 dubious enough to warrant a '?' in the notation? And more to the point, why would you consider it dubious? As Black, I don't mind trading pieces early in the game to slow White's attack. If I took with the pawn, I would have expected White to take with the knight, I would take with the knight, White would take with the Queen, and voila... same position. If I support with my Queen's pawn, d7-d6, White moves his Queens pawn forward, d4-d5 and my side of the board becomes a bit cramped.
Don't get me wrong. I love this banter back and forth. Maybe a better question from me might be 'What have I missed?' Perhaps the original descriptions of the two contestants was backwards. That's a definite possibility!
