I think you need to tell us what you stand for?

Are you for being very suspicious of PAL? Or trying to work closer with PAL?

Where are your strenghts in game play?

Warmonger?
Builder?

Do you like the diplomacy? Or the WF micromanagement?

These are some issues I think at least some of us would like to know where you stand on?

BTW why are you on the Apolyton Team? Whats your history here and why did you pick this site to be part of the Demo game in?

On first place I have to apologize for the delay - I wanted to post this Saturday or Sunday. But my ISP (God bless the people there...) have decided to give me a break and I was offline for three days. I hope this will not happen again.

The second thing I want to say before I introduce myself is that I'm not native English speaker (maybe it is obvious ). I don't express very clear on my mother tongue and I understand the confusion in the people who are reading my posts. So, when something is not very clear, just ask me and I'll try to explain it better.

And now the story begins...
I'm playing civilization since 199x. I can't remember the exact year when I have seen the game but it was prior 1996. I have played it on the PC of my school mates (without great success in the beginning). After I have played a little bit on civ2. In the second version I have achieved more victories.
But I have became really addicted with civilization III. I found this game incredible and very soon it consumed a very big portion of my free time leaving all my other favourite games in background. Since then civlization has never left my hard drive.

After I have played lots of games I started searching for more information. The only known site was the official one. And firaxis had a list of fan sites about Civilization III. Apolyton had the luck to be near the top of the list and it was the most interesting for me from a dozen of sites I have visited.
After this I started to visit the strategy forum and when I finally connected my PC to the internet this was the place I have looked for games played by email. This happened nearly two years ago. After this I joined the demo games and this demo game is the last one I have joined.

Next - my play style. In the beginning I tries to play peacefully, to build, etc. But after this I have started playing on higher difficulties and I started playing more and more aggresively. I can say I'm still more a builder than a warmonger. But I like to carry risks. The one thing I hate in the dominations victories is the lot of work I have to do with all these cities and big armies, and corruption, and riots, etc. (maybe because I never use the city governors). I have won almost all my games with space victories (it was more fun in the previous games where the end score depended on the size of the ship ).

About the current game - I think the harder part of the game is already behind us. And I can help the team with playing the turns and not stalling the game. I can make decisions if there are some surprise problems and I don't any problems doing micromanagement every turn. With all these orders around I think I can easily overcome my absent-mindness.

I'm not suspicious about PAL but I can't say I trust them 100%. I think we should behave as friendly as possible. Talk with them, propose different and many things just to keep them in good attitude against us even if they are thinking to back stab us at some point. IMO they don't and we are over suspicious and don't find it wrong - I'm paranoic about security and defense and I find this behaviour as the right one.

Voting on ormuzd's new consul seat was to begin on 12/8 and, IIRC, end 5 days later. That would be the 13th.

Today is the 14th. I'd say it's official that ormuzd is our new Consul. Let's congradulate the fellow and welcome him aboard.
