The goal is clearly to survive - as nye said - the problem is that we are dead as soon as PAL decides that we are dead.
That being said - PAL is clearly on a power trip - we should clearly state that we are willing to work in a secondary/subordinate role with them as the lead, however, this master/slave attitude and tone has to stop. There tends to be a bit too much adrenline when you or your team are in a dominant position - it is probably worse given the long length of PBEMs.
We need to remind PAL yet again that as far as this game goes they are clearly in a dominating position - however, that might not be the case in the next game, so that is why they need a team that they can be friendly with and work with next game.
They also need to be reminded that what they do and how they act in this game will likely be carried over to the next game - in particular look how GCA was treated in their game mostly because of their actions and attitude in the first ISDG game.
Also GWT's dominance in the first ISDG may have made other teams focus more attention on them and what they are doing in the next game (assuming they make it there) - the best way to come out of this game is NOT to be too dominant but to have your alliance be dominating enough to survive the 2 eliminations.
