Searching the web with... Overture? Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

I'm referring to the small search box in the forums pages (the one that has a drop-down box where you can choose if you want to search the web, these forums etc.)

Well, I'm in a slow day here at work and I decided to search the web using that search box and to my surprise, it led to Overture's home page, which seems to be a service offered by Yahoo. And I had to enter my search terms again to get some results.

Seeing how Google ads are used in other parts of the site, I thought that the search engine used for searching the web would be Google, but it is Overture.

havn't used overture but i know a customer of the company i worked at had a deal with them. i think they are looking for a big comeback against the quasi-monopolistic google...
