I'm 94 % through it now, WOW! I never believed I'd see the day when Paradox released a demo of one of their games...!

I'm pleasantly surprised as well....it's a good marketing move, and it looks like this will either please or disappoint a lot of would-be buyers (hopefully the earlier, of course)......and now I understand why their forums are currently down too...

People should have used the mirror... I started to DL from Paradox, and got only 14 kB/s, on a broadband 2 Mb/s line! Then I tried the mirror location, and got 3000 kB/s for a few seconds, declining only ~50-90 kB/s until it landed on ~350 kB/s!

I've never been a huge fan of demos anyway to tell the truth. Particularly wrt strategy games - To me they never really seem to give enough of a feel for true extent of the depth (which is what I tend to look for more than anything else) ...

Well, I don't know what the price for servers is. But bear in mind that the forum is a free service to us, nothing they need to prioritize.
