Easygoing -- playstyle issues and I'm dead anyway
1799 -- game alive?
Shogun -- rule issue
BOC -- no gameplay issues; 1.15 version issue

I hope that we can work this out...we've all invested a lot of time together to have fun.

Mickeyj, can you resend and/or post the save in the thread?

I'm starting to have a reoccuring problem with receiving saves. In several of my other PBEMs, the same issue is emerging where someone emails me the save, I don't receive an email, they don't receive a message delivery failure notice.

I have contacted MSN about this issue and hope to resolve it soon. I can tell you it's nothing in my setup as I'm DSL, Microsoft Outlook 2002 and POP3 settings with no junk/spam filtering or email macros.

Sorry for this inconvenience...if it's not resolved soon, I will switch everything over to my verizon.net accounts.

Thanks Mickeyj. I'm going to look at my setup tonight and I may switch to using my gmail account for PBEMs. I just have to figure out the POP3 forwarding thing...

Thanks for the invite Shogun, Mike had already sent me one so I didn't need it or use it.

I have no problems sending and receiving gmails from outlook, but can't seem to get my gmails into a separate folder system. Anyone know how to do this?

I'm after 2 sets of folders - one for my londonhome email address, the other for my gmail address.

good, seem to work okay, except i can't get a sent gmail automatically moved from my outlook sent items to it's own sent folder. the best it does is creates a copy of the sent gmail.

on the other hand, it moves a received gmail from my inbox straight into another folder with no copying or other hassles.

i'm floating about 3 different computers at the moment, so if i get this sorted i'll always be able to access my saves and play no matter where i am.

My setup is bit easier. I just added the gmail POP3 to my Outlook 2003. Since I will only route messages in from gmail -- I have no issue with the SENT ITEMS as Andy indicated.

gmail has a huge amount of storage...one could keep all their saves without exceeding the storage limit...

Paddy, I just gmailed you asking if you could send this to my new gmail address so I can play today sometime from work. I'm in between projects now so have plenty of time on my hands..

btw, I gave up on Outlook and gmails. I couldn't set it up so that the two folder structures were different, and I found I was spending too much time unnecessarily deleting copies of stuff etc.

So instead I set up Outlook Express for PBEMs via gmail, and normal Outlook with my usual email address for everything else.

Much much better!

I hope everyone's week is going nicely and you're not too busy at work. Myself, I think I'll drink pints and play pool over lunch!
