John T... correct on all the Oz questions including the name... except the year written was 1899.

Never too many questions...

Hueij... It's a Wonderful Life... With Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed. Bert the cop and Ernie the taxi driver.. or the other way around. I forget.

The bell tower scene was filmed in Salinas. It was about 100 miles south of SF. There was also a scene in one of the redwood forests.

What is the biggest selling soundtrack ever (worldwide sales)?

Bonus question: Which is the biggest selling soundtrack in the US?

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

I'm guessing "Titanic" to the first question. Ewwww.

How I despise that film.

I'd guess the same answer to the bonus as well, though I know it can't be right for both. May it's "Grease" in the US.

Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

You got it backwards... but close enough counts.

Worldwide, SNF has sold 30,000,000 copies.

In the US, The Bodyguard has sold 16,000,000 copies.

Further research (at some Whitney fan sites) states that The Bodyguard has sold 33,000,000 worldwide.

Shiite. I hate it when that happens.

Then again, "The Wall" sold more than both (in the US).

:sigh:

Perhaps you should ask the next question Emp. Fab.

I did not Google it, but I believe that movie is Identity. If it's not, I'll say Memento, but I'm pretty sure it's Identity.... which wasn't as good as I'd been led to believe, sadly. There wasn't really a consistent internal reality in what they set up, which rendered any fun guessing the plot ahead of time hopelessly vague.

Okay, I have Googled it now, and I see that I'm right. Mind if I just go on to the next question?

This movie can be rather painful to watch for those of us who value our noses.

I hadn't the faintest clue what you were talking about until I looked it up on the IMDb. Perhaps I need to offer a bit more. This movie also features a woman getting slapped. (And yes, I'm "keeping it to the classics" as an extra half a hint, so this is not some bizarre Grade Z movie you never heard of).

Hmmm... was thinking of 'Manhattan', but wrote Annie Hall'.

It's an easy mistake if you've never been able to sit through a whole Woody Allen 'comedy'.

The film of his that I found the funniest was 'Interiors'.
