First, how do I find out what my nation's mission is when I inable mission victory?

Also, I'm having trouble running the AGC-EEP mod. I installed it, and I can run it from the new icon, but I can't find the new options for the fantasy events in the options list.

1.) You use missions? I wouldn't reccommend that. Anyway, you'll get one mission every 10 year I think, it's in the ledger I think. I haven't used missions since good ol' EU1, so my memory is a bit rusty...

2.) First, have you clicked on the AGC-EEP scenario button? Dumb question, but I don't remember if the vanilla scenarios are there too. If not, forget that. Second, when you go in the options list, you should have got so many options that you must scroll down a little bit. There you should get the fantasy options.

Hmm.... even when I start the game with the AGC-EEP icon, there are no new scenarios on the list.

According to the manual, mission victory gives you one big mission at the start of the game, and you win if you complete it (they gave the examples of Spain needing to conquer England, or Russia getting all orthadox provinces in the Balkans).

Well, then I'm pretty sure the manual is wrong. Which isn't a new experience with Paradox games.

The HoI 1 manual is also another notorius departure from reality, but the ones for CK and Victoria are pretty decent, if short. Sure seems like HoI 2's manual's going to be an improvement though...hope that's true.

A guy called Gaute(don't know if he is telling the truth, if he is a beta and know such, isn't it a breaking of NDA if he tells us? ) says that the manual is "120 pages long, and writtten by a FOOL"(ie Mr. T, one of the best guys over there).

Well, After you installed AGCEEP, you start it via the yellow shield shortcut (which you say you did). It should then tell you "AGC_EEP_vXXX" on the starting screen. Does it say that?

Clicking on single player will bring you to the scenario menue, which should consist of only two scenarios, one of which is not finished yet.
When selecting the 1419 scen a huge row of shields should appear at the upper corner. If it does, clicking on options will bring you to the menue where you may change fantasy options and the like.

Please tell us whether any of these "shoulds" donīt appear in your version...

The screens I get look nothing like that. When I use the AGC-EEP icon the game starts the same as base EUII as far as I can see, except in the corner it says version 1.00 (when I have 1.08).

Yeah, then your install is corrupted. Just reinstall both EU2 and AGC_EEP... It workes fine for me, so I guess itīs got nothing to do with the file. Maybe you accidently messed up the mod installation?

Well, this keeps getting stranger and stranger. I noticed the little version number in the top corner says 1.00 even when starting the base game. I restalled the patch, and it was still the same, then I reinstalled the game and the patch and it stayed the same.

Maybe you got two insatllations of EU2? Some people do that in order to be able to play both vanilla and modded EU2...

Otherwise you have kind of a problem there, buddy...

The joke was that it was written by a FOOL. Nickmp did't understand that I was talking about MrT. I'm not a beta but the manual has been mention in a preview.
