Situation on turn 1275 AD:
http://apolyton.net/upload/view.php?file=26621_CACTUS-1270AD.jpg
There were 8 tanks built last turn, and 7 new tanks being built this one. We can chain 2 transports which means 15 new tanks can reach Port Sacrifice. Lego has no chance of taking Port Sacrifice and we have another city NE-NE of Abeline down south (see pic in last turn report pics), Fort Spinebreaker which is defended by 8 tanks. The remaining tanks are scattered among the ruins of the Lego cities razed (again, see last turn report pics).
As you can see from this pic, Lego has 15 available tanks plus 2 more possible though only perhaps 1 is likely since our bombing of Jackson's tiles most surely will leave it without the necessary shields to complete it. Those 15 tanks however, have 1 or 2 HP left and its unlikely they can take either of the two cities. Btw, there's a little error in the pic, Dye Fields only has 11 tanks, not 15.
All tanks NOT in Port Sacrifice will be cut off if Lego decides to cut the railroad W of Port Sacrifice. This means only the 20 tanks in PS plus the 15 tanks from home can take the city. The city will be attacked by 10 bombers and almost 40 artillery, unless Lego decides to sortie its fleet at Jackson (2 BBs, 2 DDs) which means the carriers will have to be used against the fleet and not the city.
Abeline is defended by 50 infantry. After we take Jackson and Dye Fields we will likely cooperate with artillery bombardments but I do not support sending a single unit against the city as that is GS's "area of operations". Our artillery could very well reduce it to size 6 in a couple of turns giving GS better odds. Still, a lot of GS tanks will likely be lost in the battle, hopefully leaving a better tank ratio among us (currently it's 58 (or a bit less) them - 48 us)

Does Lego have marines / transports ?
I'd hate for them to rush one up and send them against our bombers on Zen Island.
The bombers are protected by one cav right ?

Yes, the bombers are protected by a Cav, and Lego still has transports though we destroyed at least one when we took Port Hammer, there are 3 right besides the old city of Invoice. I don't seriously think they have a shot of landing on Zen Island at least on this turn.

Lego are going to fight it out to the end right ?
So expect sneaky damaging play.

Yep, though not likely as carefully planned as when Vondrack was playing. This turn (read the battle report) was quite sloppy for them.

I think we need to kill their ships.
Probably hiding in Jackson ?
Or are they in open water now ?
If in Jackson. Take that city first.
|
According to the report they attacked and sunk some of our escorts. If they are in the open, they will be carrier-fodder. If they go back to Jackson they will be destroyed now that we assault the city.

Do we have the dyes hooked up ?
One dye is within Ports Sacrifices borders that I can see.
Is it connecting through a Vox harbor ?
|
I need to check the F2 screen next turn for that...

How long before ND attacks GS ?
With the Lego war won, GS will be beefing up their home defenses like mad, making it even more difficult.
|
ND is still about 8 turns from creating a viable mega-army. Still, vs. Mech Infs that will not likely be of much use. I'm starting to think that we'll need a nuclear war to take out GS.

I hate having Roleplay settled in old Legoland.
They still plot our downfall. I can feel it in my bones.
I cant commit to anything over xmas...sorry.
2 kids & a wife demand my attention.
A simple turn play with a provided build spreadsheet, I can probably handle.
But if there is a war...I am never going to find the 3 hours without constant interuption. |
No prob., any other volunteers?

quote: 150 gold to you this turn
100 gold to GS (500 last turn) for computer.
You haven't this tech, have you a tech-deal with GS about this tech?
If not, we can give you the tech in the turn we declares war on GS
how many gold do you need each turn?
we must upgrade our Infs in the next turns, we need them for the invasion.
40 gold per upgrade, we have +299gpt
Other point:
Techdeal with Vox, they haven't radio as the only tech before modern age.
Can you make a deal with them (if i'm right, you want to speak with them
about UN)
Next one:
We have one settler and builds now two more for the lego-land, what will you
do in this area?
And what will GS and RP does?
Our Ansar see no ships next your coast, but it's interesting that GS fortify
2 MechInfs on the hills in RP-land....
We should discuss an attack on GS from two sites, we can attack at
Whirlwind, if you can attack in the same turn Santa Barbara, you can kick
out RP and i hope conquer the cities of GS we can't before you
Nine turns to Rocketry at our site.
