Greetings Lord and Masters,

ok it goes like this

4 players & 8 civilizations

Paddy - Carthaginian & Portugal
Modo - Persia and Japan
Gramps - Zulu & Egypt
Ljube - Arabia & Byzantines

4 teams of 2 civilizations locked in alliances

yet no player teamed with the same player, as in:

Player 1a Carthaginuan teamed with Player 2a Persia

Player 2b Japan teamed with Player 3a Zulu

Player 3b Egypt teamed with Player 4a Arabia

Player 4b Byzantines teamed with Player 1b Portugal

this way each civilization can have two set allies - that being the civilization you are locked to , and your other one


settings:

Large map 130 x 130
60% Ocean
Normal Climate
4 billion year old
Pangea
Raging Barbarians
Cultural Conversions
Scientific Leaders

Each Civ starts with a leader
Each Civ starts with 100gold

Why, to make myself even bigger, of course. Did you really need to ask?



The AI doesn't know how to draft until it's too late. Only the Russian Jaeger has a slightly better defense than a Musketman. I got cash to quickly beef up my military. So why do you worry so much?


I asked about the difficulty, because Regent seemed too easy. You know, winning on autopilot and stuff.

They also wanted to sign MPPs, presumably against you, but they got rebuffed. Didn't offer enough.

Spain declared war on Prussia this turn. You don't happen to know the reason?

I plan to kick Prussia out of Sweden, and perhaps take some of their core, but not very soon. Still 2-3 turns before Mobilization.

How quick are you in Spain now? 1 city per turn? I can do better.

the current state of continential Europe is very messy

then their are my ever peaceful allies the Austrians... if only I could have a great old chat with their AI leaders... it would be great to know their thinking.
