Santiago started the WP

It occurred to me that I don't know whether stockpile energy-in-the-queue is allowed in this game. I have been using it, but I haven't used the energy gained from it, so if it is not allowed or if others have not been using it, I can pitch a sum of energy credits. I want to use it exactly as much as others are using it, regardless of the rules, so who has been using stockpile energy?

I'm not using it and I just figured it wasn't allowed. All other things being equal, I'd just as soon that we don't use it. It's just one more thing to have to worry about and I find it cumbersome to use besides.

I had two Unity pod malfunctions this year and both were within 2 tiles of a base. Does anyone know whether running a negative planet rating increases the chance of a pod malfunction?

I don't know for sure (Prima is silent on this one - effect of planet rating, that is)

But in some SP games I've found that the "popping a pod in a base radius can't producer a negative event" is false - I've had mindworms in a base radius when I've podpopped several times - and early on in games, too.

However, you won't pop a mindworm from a pod "adjacent to a base" (which suggests that bases should be established right next to pods, and not 1 tile away - hence, I believe - the origin of the "not in a base radius" myth)
