It's probably not to early to start talking about taking sides, so I'd like Persia. Just to clarify, the Huns are in south-eastern Russia and many of the former Sovunion states. There's a reason we still have HUNgary today.

And I will have to bow out from modding, or even sort of apprenticing to mod. My schedule is too full and will be for a few months. I still want to keep my hand in as a player, though.

I'm happy to do research, but I am not modding or setting up maps or anything. My role here is finding information only. So yeah, I'll look some things up. TO start with, the Vikings were in Denmark, extreme northern Germany, and southern Scandinavia, but I had figured on them as NPCs only because they were not historically united. Yes, I will keep researching.

I give one warning now. Be careful about your orders, be specific, use correct wording, think about everything that could go wrong, and ordering some minor things can help. I will try to be as realistic as possible, and I'll say this, I will let someone win, so not every war will be a stalemate, with the leading side plagued by unrealistic disasters.

The Irish are a tad small. maybe some sort of made up Irish Icelandic combination. I don't know if Iceland is on the map though.

I guess the Irish could have some statistical upper hand over the others.

yes but when you give people nukes, and a false reality in which death is really fictional, they tend to throw them around a lot more liberally. ThAT tends to be bad for the life of any NES.

continuity? how? We didn't put in a "No Expansion" rule. The West was discovered. It is silly ot assume that we won't. Also, there is a lot more to Asia than we have put on the map. If need be we will expand the map.
