Our research path Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

PAL is going to go for Military Tradition.

We are going along the northern path.

Our first research after Lit will be Mono.

We have several choices to make, and here is the place to discuss them. We can vote later on if we feel we want to.

Chivalry. Do we pause and research it, or do we go on. This allows Knight units (usefull, but we are not in a war now) and allows the Wonder allowing crusaders. These units are nice (5 attack) and can build forts when just sitting around. I personally suggest we skip it, but I can see the value in researching it.

The second decision is once we research Education, what comes next.

We can go for Music Theory, a dead end, but one that provides a usefull wonder. I think it is good to go back later, but not necessary at this time for us.

We can go for Democracy, but that doesn't provide speed for going into the next age (all these techs on that path are not required). I would suggest that we skip this as well.

Finally, we can go for Astronomy, Physics, and so forth, to get into the industrial age ASAP. This is the route I would take, with perhaps a small diversion for Navigation to allow PAL to get Chemistry and to allow us to Map Whore.

It is my opinion that us getting RailRoads (steam Power) and Industry, along with defensive units to counter Cavalry, is of paramount importance, and being able to travel all the oceans with a good navy is going to win us this game, not necessarily having the most efficient government (democracy) and best wonders.

Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

I think we should beeline to Astronomy, then Navigation, Banking, Physics, and then enter the Industrial age.

I really don't see the point in Democracy or Bach's / Shakesphere's in an elimination game.

Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

We should go on the route that leads us to the Industrial age as soon as possible. The defensive units that age gives is also a plus, just in case.

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

In light of Mussieum no longer being an option, I think we should reserach Monachy first (to build Hanging Gardends), then Astronomy, Navigation, etc.

Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Bee-line to Industrial.

Not sure about Monarchy. May take too much time away from our trip to Education, especially if someone over yonder gets the Great Library.
