PAL has reported they killed the Mayflower, CDG's last known Galley in the area. We are officially CDG-free, except for the unknown location of their set up city.
One day we will need to find and finish CDG, the question that faces us now is whether we should start, well, NOW.
We have a couple of Curraghs left in the SE, which is the area from which CDG made their leap to... somewhere. Either off the SE/E coast of their old lands or to the S/SE/E of the area of PAL's unsettled SE lands must be where they found land and, if the evidence is to be believed, the other continent.
Should we now send the Curraghs to these areas to explore? I think there is nothing better for them to do, so this is a must. SHould we someday upgrade them to Galleys for the extra scouting movement? A move of three will not help much, unless we are venturing right out to sea, so I think this can certainly wait a bit. Should we, once we've explored the coastlines as far as we are able, suicide these boats to find CDG? In my opinion, we should. CDG may have a city on the other continent now, but in my view that is far from proven. If we can find their city and get it quick enough, then we will have all the less to worry about for the future, and the other continent's civs may self-destruct.
