Let's see if I can remember.
One of the core reactors has already melted down. It's the San Gabriel Island reactor in Southern California. The population has evacuated but some of them are still in the path of the nuclear fallout.
Jack and Tony cornered the terrorist mom in a hotel room. She tried to shoot herself but they prevented her from doing it and captured her. She cut a deal with them that her son would get a full pardon and that she would help them. But only if they rescued her son Berooz because his father found him at the hospital and and is trying to kill him.
We got to see more hot Turkish ladies as terrorist dad went looking for his wife and kid and went to his relatives house where he found one of the Turkish ladies hitting it with some dude that wasn't her husband.
Berooz went to the hospital where his uncle worked to get some pain medication, but his uncle tipped off the terrorist father and Berooz got captured in the hospital.
The father took Berooz to the basement of the hospital and is cornered, if he shoots Berooz, the terrorist Mom will talk to the Americans and tell them where the nuclear override switch is.
Meanwhile, Edgar had a very sad scene with his mother, she has no car and cannot leave her house, she is also very feeble, so can't get around easily; everyone else already left so she can't get out of town before the nuclear fallout hits. She decided to take her own life instead of dying. Edgar wanted to go rescue her but there wasn't enough time, and his mom told him to stay at his post because what he was doing was going to save millions of lives, and that's what she wanted.
That was the best scene of the show, and one of my favorite so far, I thought it was as good as when Tony showed up and started capping the bad guys to save Jack and the Secretery's daughter.

Good ep, but I thought Jack saying 'Did you get that?' at the end to be a bit out of place.
I hope next week's ep isn't a tiresome hour-long hostage scenario in the stairwel...

Best line is easily Tony: "Actually, I'm currently unemployed."

Quick question.
Remember the beginning of the season, and that kinda runty little fella was the head of Tactical? What was his name, Ricky or something? Dead by Hour Three?
How the **** did he end up head of Tactical, when Curtis is clearly an absolute killing machine? When he killed two terrorists with his bare hands in about five seconds?
Holy ****. How awesome was that?

Who had the bright idea to keep Curtis cooped up in the office as Erin's XO, when he clearly ought to have been out in the field snapping terrorist necks in twain with his bare hands?
I am henceforth referring to 24 as "The Curtis Manning Show".
