Ok - there has been much discussion in the strategy thread. If you have not done so - please take a boo. This poll is intended to confirm our short term strategy - which is really all a single Emperor can realistically expect to accomplish.

I am in favour of pursuing the war with Carthage in Spain to a successful conclusion - and then turning our attention to the Celts.

What say ye - friends, Romans, countrymen?

Finish the Job in Spain but rush some troops with the gold we have sitting around, in those recently captured towns that are not rebelling .

We have a very thin red line down there and it is getting very stretched, use the gold and rush build some legions and garrisons.

Spend it all every last penny and build some troops!!!

Enter this as a manual vote for Spain completion. I have issues trying to vote in polls and unless I click on the poll about 10,000 times it doesn't work

Complete Spain, go after the Celts, while trying to maintain good relations with Macedon until we are ready. If we cant do that or haven't done that make sure emough defensive forces are in NE Rome to maintain that perimeter.

Do we really need yet another poll about this when the material curcumstances haven't changed?

On the poster who sugested spend all our cash.
Bacrilla provides 5% interest up to 50 gold. We need to keep 1000 gold earning this interest. Sure go ahead and rush lots of units, but keep that interest reserve.

Well, we COULD have people play longer turns ... *ahem* Otherwise, if you want the various emperors to be INTERESTED in playing the game, yes, we do need another poll. That's the point.
