	Optimus Betamus asks - do you agree with the following build strategy? Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

As per the strategy discussion, I am pretty much sold on the idea of strengthening our military. I am proposing to rush build barracks, and then Garrisons or Legionaries as appropriate. If you don't agree with this strategy in general, or - you want to see specific tweaks, please post and make your arguments. In particular - I am thinking of the 'culture bomb' that was proposed - in ..... a city which I can't remember

Heavy on the military until Carthage is destroyed. Then we can take a breather to make our cities decent places to live. Then we crush the barbarians!

Military, of course.

The exception should be some newly conquered cities. Courthouses and Marketplaces might be useful in the bigger ones, where Corruption leaves some breathing space.

And Barracks. Everywhere.

TROOPS TROOPS and more TROOPS we have way too few Legions and way too many citizens in this game!!!

Barracks and garrisons are very very cheap to rush in this scenario, Legions are a bit dearer but still worth every penny !!!

I would rush Barracks and garrisons in the smallest least productive distant towns, rush Legions in the bigger towns nearer our borders and active fronts and let the core towns spit out the faster cavalry units.

in towns where it takes say five turns to build a Legion unit you can get them very cheap if you rush after 1 or 2 turns of production.

Military, yup:

The exceptions are:

1. Size 6 cities without fresh water. (Aquaducts, rush, then switch to military)

2. Any size 5+ city without MP
3. Any size 4+ city without CH outside of Italy

4. Cultrual Bomb with Stolen Wines
