Optimus Betamus asks - Does Corsica need reinforcements? Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

The Carthaginian navy rules supreme in the seas around Corsica.

And I suspect the Carthaginians will retake Caralis from the Greeks. This is not necessarily a bad thing - as we can take it from the Carthaginians.

The question I am asking is - should we reinforce Carthage - and if you say yes - be specific - naval and or land troops, and how many?

The situation on Sardinia looks a little tight. I don't know if the Carthaginian ships on the coast have already dropped troops or not.

I propose that we send one of the galleys in Olbia to Aleria, to retrieve a few garrisons. The other should head back to Rome and return with the troops to end Carthage's hopes on either island.

I would like a more offensive garrison on Aleria due to its remoteness. Also the empire has only 3 galleys! A few more will ensure rapid response despite possible losses.

Send at least 3 Legions. The Carthaginians seem to be getting quite strong reinforcements there.

Yes reinforce both islands with as many troops as you can get there, the Carthaginians will send strong forces to retake these islands, it is coded into the scenario.

Reinforce with whatever you can.

Enter this as a manual vote for reinforcement. I have issues trying to vote in polls and unless I click on the poll about 10,000 times it doesn't work

Got spare money?

No, don't reinforce. We have three legions and an army. If they survive agaist these 4 heavy cavalries and swordsman they will be completely healed for the next turn.

Anyway we don't need the galleys in Olbia and depending how the thing go we may need to transport some troops. But currently I don't think we will need more troops there.

P.S. It's Augustus's boys, not Caesar's

No, Do not relocate the troops in Italy.

They are busy preventing Italy itself from being invaded and also in many cases enforcing martial law.

Suffering from ads?

Land troops. Joncnunn, the AI has no ability to invade from the sea, and with 4 movepoint roads, we can easily react to any invasion. It's almost like railroads.

And we know my opinion on martial law ...
