Imran and I were planning on 2 leagues this year with the primary difference being Imran's league would be weekly roster changes and mine would be daily roster changes. The advantage of weekly changes is you dont have to worry about your team during the week since you set the rosters Sunday and cant change them. The advantage of daily roster changes is you can change them.

For those people who don't pay much attention, Imran's league is the best. If you like more control over your team and hate it when a star goes down on Monday after the week's roster has been set, daily changes are a nice option. But daily changes requires more attention, if you can't check every day or two to reset your team and catch any injuries, you will be at a dis-advantage. Setting your team for 4 or 5 days and walking away can get you in trouble...

So, Imran and I need y'all to post if you want to play and identify which league (or both) you want to join.
This thread can also be used to discuss settings, etc...

Yeah, I did this last year and the thread disappeared by the time we got around to setting up the league, but this will give us more time to fill both leagues.

And I'll play both too, I joined too many leagues last year and really grew fond of the weekly changes leagues I was in. I wont make that mistake again

We have 2 people for both leagues so far...

Well, you don't really need to visit yahoo everyday, I use the editing feature to set rosters 3 or 4 days in advance in case I lose internet access from a storm. Thats about how far ahead yahoo can predict pitchers' starts. For example, you have guys playing on Monday with a Thursday of rest, others miss Monday and play Thursday. You can set your rosters on Sunday and cover the whole week if you want and yahoo will remember which players are on your roster for any given day. If you can check your team every 2-3 days thats good enough...

Where are all those people who posted in the baseball threads .

I got 7 in my league so far and it looks like Berz has 3. 10 is usually a good size, but I wouldn't be averse to having it at 8 if needbe.

I played a league with only 6 teams last year and what I really liked about it was the greater amount of available talent. We also had ~ 15 position players so they could be used. I had like 5 of the top 12 players on my team

I'm not sure... but I wouldn't want a league over 12. I realize there are a lot more players in baseball to pull from (no team fields the same lineup every day), but still, you don't want too many teams. That saps interest.

I've kinda liked a lot of teams when I've played in those leagues. Makes the medium talent a little more desireable.
