I'll go one better where do you think the current world leards would appear? On smac or this website? Personally I am afraid my own country is becoming a fundamentalist capitalist state with a power value....not what we should be (I'm for a democracy green knowledge myself but then I was always a fan of dedrie)

I've thought about this one before.
Yang: Clearly an authoritarian and commie, this would place him around -8,4. (He's a dictator but not power hungry like Miriam or Santiago.)
Dee: A leftie big on freedom, somewhere around -9,-6.
Morgan: Three words, Right Wing Lunatic. Somewhere around 8,2.
Lal: I don't believe Lal does love freedom, he just pretends to. Quite definitely does believe in the use of force. Maybe 3,1 or so.
Miriam: Oh look, a fascist. Hard to say where her economics lie but probably to the right (it goes with the stereotype ). Maybe 2,7.
Santiago: An iron fist dictator! Hard to gauge on economics, the creche blurb almost suggests commie, -2,9.
Zak: I don't think science tends to any politics, but I've always thought of the university as social darwinists. Maybe -2, 4.
SMACX Faction:
Roze: Not hard! She's way down the anarchist scale, hard to gauge on economics, probably fairly neutral. 0, -9.
Sven: I think Sven has a different ideology to the Pirate faction, the pirates themselves seem quite anarchist, but Sven seems to be the iron fist ruler type.
Aki: I don't think the algorithm bothers with politics. 0,0. (the faction probably enjoys perfect co-operation which would make them very lefty, but I say they actually transcend conventional ideology, especially political. Essentially the hive mind is one individual with many bodies, what use for politics or economics?)
Domai: Domai himself is probably at odds with the Drones faction. Seems to be quite the dictator. -3, 5.
(Note: Although the drone faction was founded as a socialist utopia it seems more likely it would end up with a capitalist system, because most the drones probably ARE very willing to be told what to do…)
Cha Dawn: A Green dictator, funny little creature. -7, 6.
Feel free to disagree
Note that on the compass I'm at nearly exactly the same place as Ghandi (that is, bottom left), altough I can't remember the exact numbers, I think it's around -6,-4.

It goes into more detail, perhaps, but it's less easily understood on a simple left/right basis. I mean, according to that I'm a socially-orientated, internationalist, free-trade, non-absolutist, controlled-market kind of person.
It's a bit more difficult connecting these ideals to any of the SMAC/X factions.
Except perhaps Morgan and his free-trade (though not the controlled-market).

Overall, the PoliticsForum quiz considers you a socially-orientated, materialist, internationalist, protectionist, controlled-market kind of person, who also seems quite Marxist.
These characteristics would put you in the overall category of Marxist. Your natural home at PoliticsForum would be the Communism area.
Below, on this page, is an analysis of the (up to) eight categories that you were sorted into above, and an explanation of how you scored on the eight scales used to determine these categorisations.
The pages following this one show the breakdown of results for all participants on each question. You can freely navigate through the pages by using the hyperlinks in the top right of each page.
HEhe
This quiz is not as good as the Political compass in my opinion, because the questions are always oriented question that lead you to subjectivity.
But that was nice to see lot of details, wich were almost true.
But Kyoto treaty is good for USA, and that was very subjective to say that wasnt good for it. Since it was not good only for petrol and coals industry mostly, wich is the number 1 source of energy in usa. not good for rich people only. Like president of ESSO or other ****.
They also have a false idea of communism in my view...
Bad questions, not enough neutral, not very scientific...
political compass was made by a group of independant scientist based in UK.
The questions are also better in my opinion.
But that was nice too.
PS : specially liked this one :
You scored 3 out of 100 on a scale of Protectionist vs Free Trader. This means that politically you are less likely to favour free trade over protectionist policies.
1% of test takers were more protectionist than you.
99% of test takers were more pro free trade than you.
Maybe my futur degree in politics, is making me thinking like that.

So bintravakin what makes latvia odd world? Looks like a pretty normal eastern european parlimentary democracy to me. Probably on the way to drastic improvement now that it's been away from Russia for over ten years.

So what is it? Am I a Marxist or just generally left of center or something else? I guess i can't even tell anymore. [/QUOTE]
In the USA you would be a very left leaning almost socialist democract. A follower of Howard Dean rather than John Kerry or Liberman.

Whoa, Howard Dead is hardly that leftist, believe me I wish he was. Perhaps you were thinking of Nader? I like both men, especially Nader. That man is my hero, he is so incorrputable he doesn't own a car, or credit cards. Not having a car in California is a major pain in the asscott. I wish I was so strong to go without. Unfortunately America is entirely too right wing anymore for him to have a chance at politic office
Oh and I can't stand Liberman, he represents all that is wrong with the left. Racial politics have been dead since the late 80's, and he'll go on an on about how oppressed the blacks and jews are. BS, there is no more race war in America, it is all about economics now. Not white vs. black, but rich vs. poor

Heh personally I can't stand Nadar or Dean though you should look at dean again based on what you said above he supports most of your polices. Have not heard Liberman go on about race war but I do think part of the problem is still black vs white. Simply because the percentage of black people that are poor is so much higher than the percentage of white people. Sorry you don't like him (though I am not surprised) I do agree with you that we have swung way to far to the right but europe and Canada is way to economicly left for me. Socialism takes away to much of the incentive to work. That is just my opinon however intelligent well meaning people can disagree. I understand the beef with cars I use public transportation every chance I get, though since I live in North Carolina it is rather difficult. What is his beef with credit cards? I have two don't carry a balance on them however (that's just economic suicide). Nadar and the green party are way to socialist for me and anti free trade for that matter.
