I've tried with a few people and they can't connect to me, and I can't connect to them. The game just says "no games found" whenever we try. Same versions of the game, same patches, etc.

Try right now to look for "Test" being hosted by Googlie - I've set it up as a smax game
Let me know if you find it
EDIT: left it up for 1/2 hour. I was able to conenct to it (my desktop) with my laptop, so the problem doesn't seem to be with the host end
(but for both rigs I had to set my firewall - ZoneAlarm on both - to accept it)
