'kay, if you want a fourth guy I could do it.

If most of you are new players, choose your factions first then and I pick one afterwards, for I got some experience already.

I like:
Normal size (or even smaller )
Lot's of native life
50-70% ocean (or 30-50 if the map is smaller)
Heavy rain
Least erosion as possible (I like mountainuous terrain)

Some extra's:
Darsnans tricks to make the AI tougher.

Could we have a soft ban on Drones/Uni/Hive?
I'd like to go Peacekeepers vs super-uber-AI, Believers otherwise and Drones in response to a human choosing Uni/Hive.

If with 3 players, co-operative victory off.
Normal map size or smaller.
Average erosion please. (Rocky squares make my forests cry)

Its only a soft ban, not a hard ban like on the Proggys. I just didn't want to be the first to broach the Drone/Hive/Uni can of worms.

Hive and Drones are best as AI factions anyway, it makes them more competitive in the longer run. I would welcome it if no player takes the Uni as well. Then at least it is less of a cursed techrace game.

Senethro: don't worry about too many rocky tiles with low erosion, the CMN tinkers on the map anyway and can remove an excess of those tiles... but remember the benefits of rocky tiles as well!

I was thinking of taking the Believers if experience levels are not too high. just to try something new, and challenge myself a bit.

Oooooh, blind research, I don't know about that. Sorry, you'll have to count me out. I get somewhat frustrated when I have habdomes before I get energy restrictions lifted.

If this is a game for all first time players I would like to get in, but if not I'll wait for an all new player game. I would prefer Gaians.

Mhh...Tech stagnation and blind research?...I don't know, i've never actually played with blind research but I have played with stagnation, and for me, the game seems so sloow...
I will have to think it twice, but for now, count me in!
