Grigor you're say that MAC version don't see *.net extension, so MAC users can't play internet tcp/ip games? In attachment you have version that should work fine on MAC.

Current game - you will find there a new game every month to download with it's description and goals. If there won't be any change in the sending time which I always inform by news, then you have to send the game back until the first day of each month (until 12 p.m.) at

So death-line of current game is 28th of February. After game please give us some comments in thread of February global scores. You can find the results here from the 5th day of every month.

To all. If you send your score please write in mail under what flag you want to be shown in global ranking.

I have started playing March game, but I have some problems understanding the rules:

1) "Assumption Farms on the All areas in started Island",
what does this mean ?

2) "For the possession a town who reached "41" (no losses ear)", does this mean one has to own a city size 41 at the end of the game ?

3) "For conquer Aztecs nation": the yellow civ is Spanish.

Could you please explain ?

First of all sorry for long time of reaction but if you would write this note on our board, you'll have faster reaction. About that misunderstood it's partially my fault, I should better check that english. This game is created by marorz, so he's also author of english descriptions.

You should create farms on all squares at starting island.

You should have a city at 41 population level, which have not food shortage.

2) I didn't know you took the civ2 score into account, and I always play for early conquest or early landing. That is why my score wasn't very high in the February game. I hope to improve that in March

sezoN - I might like to try your GOTM again. IMO the website looks very cool, but it is a little hard to understand. I have not been able to register, because it won't accept my email address. Also, it appears that the April GOTM has started (?), but I don't see how to DL it ...help please!

Yes, we take game score into main formula but we're wandering how to minimalize it's influens on final score. I think that game score should have minimal influence on final score, now it's too big. If you have any ideas how to fix it, feel free to post them when we'll gonna talk about third edition. We're always make some improvent between editions.

It's always in the same place just scroll your screen down and you will see it. Don't forget to send your score back. When you'll send it, please write under what flag you want to be shown in our tables.

I can find your Feb/March GOTMs. There is a post in the same forum dated April 1 (a joke?) called "News: GOTM for Civ2"

It says simply "Game of the month for civ2 is avalible."

I do not see a link on that page and don't know where else to look for one. I cannot post questions in your forums since I cannot register there.

I played one of these and have mixed feelings. Somebody created an interesting start, but the ground rules are not clear. I still have no idea how the winner is determined (apparently, the stated goals of the GOTM don't matter much).

Also, this was not a quick and easy game. I am reluctant to invest a lot of effort into another one until somebody explains the rules and scoring.

I agree with you that scoring is not clear at all.
But the game itself is real fun. Perhaps we should ask sezoN to introduce some kind of green star so that we could avoid playing long boring endgames. What do you think?

BTW I must advertise again those Polish Games of the month: they are very original and great fun to play
