I am not sure I understand your question.
AFAIK you can post any save (max size = 500 000 bytes) as attached file.

Peaster and La Fayette, of course Scouse Gits has right, *.rar is similar to *.zip and it's very popular in europe. For others who's can't open it. Here it's oficial site of WinRar program. currenty in 3.42 release. - http://www.rarlab.com/
Rehoming isn't forbiden and black-clicking either but that second can really spoil your fun.
By the way, for what you want GotM in simple *.sav mode? Only in *.net file it's useful. So better download it from original address or attach here full *.rar file.
Peaster but why multiplayer mode is confuse for you?

sezoN,
I got winrar and have opened the start.net file, so I guess I am ready to play. But I am surprised that we are supposed to play a single-player game in multiplayer mode.... (why do it that way?). Also, |
I know that you have it but someone else maybe don't. What about MP mode, so it is easier to check final scores, especially when some of goals are depends on number of cities ect. ect. And it's our standard, some kind of our GotM tradition.

Yes, as I wrote here, you should send me every save of bonus that you claim for.

** I looked at the rules.txt file. Hope that is OK. |
It's no problem at all.

** We want the Americans to have a lot of cities at THE END of the game, right? |
Yes, you should keep so many American cities as you can.

I am going to try to zip the necessary files and post them here [fingers crossed]. You need MGE to play, and must open the start.net file in MP mode. |
I would add something. You should start from read the main rules.
By the way, I'm very pleased that you've decided to try it! I'am curiouse how you will stand in future rank. After game it would be very nice if you write some thing about it on our forums Wish you luck
P.s.
sorry for my poor english

Just in case ...
MGE defaults to looking for a .sav file when you load a game, but you can change this to looking for a .net game.
(Sorry if this is stating the obvious.)

Thanks sezoN ! I think your scoring system will make this a lot of fun. But I don't expect my score will be too good, since I don't know how to drive a spaceship, and haven't played with modern units very often either |
Have great fun while playing it's most important thing! Score is addition also nice but only addition to fun. If you havn't played much in modern age, so now you have great opportunity to do it and compare your score with polish civ friends.

You will need 3 files: start.net, units.bmp, and rules.txt. The units and rules files are slightly different from standard... you move 2x on roads, etc. These files are all part of sezoN's rar file and the zip file above [I hope]. There is a readme file, but that info is also online at sezoN's site, civ.org.pl. |
My advise is to download that files from original destination only then you'll have sure that files are OK.

I think sezoN said we should not use LaFayette's .sav file. To use the .net file, you must have MGE and follow his directions [ IIRC you 1) start an MP game, 2) select the Internet option, 3) Load a saved MP game (namely start.net) and then select the Germans.] |
Correct!

Now, could you explain the part about the spaceship? |
You should launch your spaceship fastest you can. It's all. Spaceship don't have to reached alpha centauri, only launch time is mark.

LF, this seems right up your alley! It would be very enjoyable to look at your play in a spoiler thread.
As a MAC user, I am effectively shut out of this interesting scenario. However, I was able to open your save, so I have looked at the starting position.
With so many options, how does one begin to formulate a reasonable (and, of course, elegant) strategy?
Perhaps we should consider some type of modern units challenge game here at Apolyton, perhaps with objectives, but certainly in a more generally loadable format.

Grigor,
IMO it's a pity if you can't play with us, just because you are a Mac User.
SezoN,
Would you agree that Mac Users are allowed to play using a ".sav " starting game ?
