I downloaded and looked at the turn.
Still no nasty surprises.
It looks like the continued tech acquisitions from Uni are still a good plan.
I can see no Spartan unit. (other than the elite probe parked in Mendelez college).

Oh, yeah
There's a MW threatening Whohabitat.
Yang, Lal, and Zak still don't want to talk.

Attach the screnshot, please.
By wheeling and dealing I need to know what we want.
I'm thinking we are ahead with tech and cash.
We want some tech perhaps, plus trade, plus intell on Sparta and the Gaians commlink.
I think the Gaian Comm link will be hardest to get.
Do we wish to dispatch two more gator boats down to th DA city to ensure we get infiltration?
I can enter into negotions with the DA. How much time do we have to make a deal.
Gods please grant us a delay if necessary.
Do the DA know we are there?
If so, I will make introductions. If not, then let's think about it.

PS
If I were the Spartans and if we (the Morgans) were to get a treaty or Pact with the DA, I would accelerate my plan to conquer Morgan based upon the DA contact.

The screenshot was attached in my previous post. If you need a mid-turn save, here it is...
I haven't contacted the Angels, and I kind of doubt they saw us on their previous turn. |
So, do you want me to contact them?
I think we should to try to begin trades and commerce.

Yes, please contact them. |
Roger that.
I concur that the Spartans are more dangerous now.
I will contact the DA.

Zak has Synth Fossil Fuels. You can bet your bottom that the Spartans have it, too. (Zak is now on Intel Integ, completing in 21 years.) We'll have 2 probes with chances to steal it from him in a few turns.
We stole Supercon from Yang. Unfortunately, we didn't get Opt Comp, and we lost that Gator Boat. The other Gator Boat in the vicinity is threatened by an IOD. If it can survive until next turn somehow, we can steal Opt Comp, the tech we don't want to steal from Zak (he has other goodies ). There's a new Gator Boat coming out of RFR, but it won't get to Yang before our probes land near Mendelev.
I retreated the Gator Boat near the Angel/Datatech city "Heaven's Gate," so technically I don't think they know what kind of ship is lurking in their waters. Should this ship continue exploring their coastline, look for the Gaians, or head for Lal? Lal is now the tech leader, by the way. There's a chance he's researching DAP for the Spartans, or has already completed it.
I pre-accepted a treaty with the Angels. We can continue talking to them about more detailed transactions in the coming week.
End-turn save is attached for suggestions, especially build queues, since money's already been spent and units have already moved. If there are any changes, I'll do them a little before the deadline.

Ok, some more crawlers will be queued up next time.
We popped a materials pod. Silly me, I picked a Plasma Probe, rover chassis, aka Gator Buggy. This was before I thought to design a Plasma Rover Supply. Oh, well, we still prototype Plasma armor this way.
Yang is building literally nothing but Gatling units. That's 6 Gat rovers, 9 Gat infantry, 2 Gat arties, and a Gat ship.

Shame about the Gator Boat.
I don't think that the other boat will last the turn unless there is another unit next to it in the fungus.
I am happy that you offered the treaty. Any deals that occur now will result in them placing thier offer (tech) in the diplo box (pre-approved, yes?) befor we reciprocate. this should mean that they can't cheat us. Good.
We should be mindful that the Spartans should begin their invasion now. They ought to be killing us now (within the next 5 turns), while they still have a good chance. If they are not after us they should be after the Hive big time to gain mass. We should be ready for an invasion soon.
We should be mindful that Sparta may place another probe in the sole probe undefended Uni base before we can get our probes back there. It is likly that the probe will be of high morale.
We should try to seek out the Gaians. Don't let DA know we have not made contact (they might not know).
I agree with AndiD, we need more crawlers.

I think we might be splitting our efforts on too many fronts, with crawlers, formers, probes, Cp's, etc. Now that we'll have Plasma armor prototyped, I think we really need two rounds of Plasma Garrisons. The Spartans are probably building an army, and not just to invade a couple cities and proceed from there-- the wise thing, with infiltration, knowing we aren't building defenses, would be to build an enormous army that more or less could wipe us out in one turn.

Then, build the best shells we can, rehoming to this base (which will be able to support with its min production (watch out for the >pop< though) and get our defense going. Our formers should be making some sensors too, I think, placing them under crawlers so they can't be arty sniped off.

Erm, the downside of this is if the Spartans invade, they will take on the crawlers first, killing our entire army. Also, if the base you´re speaking of falls, all units will be rehomed to the next city, most probably exceeding its support ability...
Maybe we should stick to sevral plasma probes for the beginning, preferably rovers, if we can afford them.

indeed the spartans have infiltration, so if they see that all our troops AND crawlers are homed in that city, that city will become a main target, Better to spread it off, as long we are defending, no drones will apear.
