It is a kebab dish invented by some kebab dudes in Turku or Tampere, not sure which one. It's wildly popular now all over Finland and most kebab joints have adopted the dish. It's awesome

I'm quite fond of burgers. The ones you can get from chips shops and kebab houses are usually pretty good - better than McDonalds anyway.

I hope this 'invention' isn't kebab and salad rolled in a pita bread...

It's generally cheaper than American Junk Food, while being actually nutritive, and quite tasty. Besides, it's done just as quickly than a McD's burger (if not more). In comparison with Yankee feast food, the Kebab is an absolute winner

Yikes. I went to a Quick once and it was basically McDonald's food rolled in even more salt. Maybe it was just a bad experience with the one location I went to (around Nice), but it was worse than most fast food in North America.

Almost is bad is a chain in France (don't know if they have them elsewhere in Europe) called Flunch. It's kind of like a permanent cheap buffett. Although you can't beat the name, the food is like sawdust.

What tourist would want to visit the local fastfoods while in Frnace? Tourists are expected either to go to McDonald's because they're too afraid of indigenous food, or to taste our actual food in restaurants

Hey, cut me some slack. I was there for 17 days and ate at Quick once and Flunch once. Out of 51 possible meals, that's two at French fast food joints (I think I may have gone to McDonald's once too when I was on the road and wanted to stop for a quick bite). And this was a few years ago when my money was tighter than now.

Of course, the real question at French fast food places is:

Is the Feta Greek, or Danish?

KFC's usually pretty good, as far as UK fast food goes.

Hell yeah.

They just reopened the KFC here in Camden, after about 5 years. I think they had the Grand Opening Monday, and every night since then the parking lot has been full and they've had the drive-through line backed out onto the highway. Just got some now, and although I had to wait 30 minutes, it's easily the best chicken I've had in five years. Popeye's just doesn't cut it, and my cooking mastery is limited to the microwave and those break and bake cookies they sell where all you do is break them apart and toss them in the oven for 10 minutes.

It's a niiice KFC too. It has a buffet and everything and sixty or eighty seats in it. I heard Monday they actually ran outta chicken. While I was in line they were cartin' in food off a big ol' trailer.

They should've built it twice as big. They oughta've known in a city like Camden it would be like this.

I hate KFC's now- I have had many bad experiences in the last decade.

Popeyes

In Vienna I loved Nordsee- good fast food fish- their shrimp bagette was good- thought in tersm fo fast food, the pizza, turkish, and the half fried chicken for 2 bucks at the time (exchange rate ) were preferable.

I love indegenous fast food joint in Panama. All have fine food quality, and better service, cause service is so cheap- Don Lee's, which serves Szechuan cuisine, or a chain that is gone but was Mr. Pollo (Mr. Chicken), which hqad this amazing chicken soup and rice with chicken and fried chicken....I miss it so.

I rarely eat at mcdonalds but I think apolytoners underrate it somewhat since it simply is not that bad. At least it isn't always that bad. I suppose the problem is that when mcdonalds food is bad it's really quite terrible and it makes you not want to go back there until the memory has faded.

When the mcdonalds food is properly prepared and the fries are hot and not soggy and the sandwich looks for all the world as if nobody ever sat on it, in those situations a Mcdonald's 'meal' has been tasty enough certainly for the price.

Bah. McDonalds is great. I mean, the horror stores about it rank in the tens of thousands, but I go there whenever I want anything tasteless. When I just want to eat. It's cheap, fast, and sometimes even good!

Anyone else gets those small Paki pizza shops where you get a huge tomato-cheese pizza slice for 99 cents? All-dress is $1.50, and a two-slice + Coke combo is $3.50. Unbeatable value, and those huge slices really fill your stomach.
