I like the third and fourth icons. 1889, I propose everyone choose one ministry to hold, and we work from there, especially since we only have six people. I nominate myself for Foreign Affairs Minister.

I was thinking that these would be the post for right now and we add others or split duties as they are needed. The only athourity of any position would be as a tie breaker in a close vote.

1. We would need three City Governers to start.
2. The Minister of Science could also handle trade and Foreign Affairs (science is the only thing we will have to trade) initially.

Letrs just do the polls here rather than start a new thread.

In summary:
1. Lord Nuclear and myself like the idea of elected offices. What do the rest of you say?
2. I second LN as Foreign Affairs Minister

Well, I suggest we have these positions for now:

President
Foreign Affairs Minister
Domestic Minister

A science minister is really not needed, since they wouldn't really do much. The Foreign Affairs Minister handles all trades, and letters that go out to other teams, so where would the Science Minister fit?

We will need to decide on a research subject. I thought the Science Minister could cast the tie breaking vote, we are such a small team. I would rather spread Domestic Adviser out into city Governers, or they can be under the Domestic adviser. I suppose the President's duty would be to set overall policy, solicit advice and play the turn.

I nominate myself for President, but we are still voting to see if we will even have these positions or just a gang vote.

No, the President can decide the tie-breaking vote. We don't have enough people for City Governors, nor is it efficient. Everyone would be planning something else. The President would play the turn, and be the tie-breaker along with being a citizen. Overall policy is set by a team vote.

Not a lot of action here, but I've been busy PMing potential vampires so hopefully this apathy will abate by the time the game starts.

We need to get an icon to Snoopy real soon. My original had 4 votes and Octavians 3 (cross on white) and 4 (desert island) each got two. I will change the color of the red on the one I submitted just so Snoopy will have one, but Octavian could you please send your thin red cross to Snoop?
