Ahem. When was the last time you were in northern Mexico or southern Arizona then? The Saguaro, correctly pronounced "Sa-WAH-roh", is the King of Cacti, one of the largest Cacti in existence (the "Century Plant" grows higher, upon maturation, but that takes 20 years ...), and rarely looks mangey unless it is taken outside of its natural environment (the Sonoran desert, one of the largest deserts in the world, in northern mexico and southern arizona), in which case it rarely lives very long unless cared for very carefully. Oddly similar to a Vampire, who when taken away from his home soil does poorly unless home soil is taken with ... and a good indication of what will happen to your civilization should you come up against certain other peoples, whose Disco Style and bright lights will be anethema to your darkness-seeking civilization should you trouble us ... muahahaha ... *disco dance*

Okay, I got a bit bored, and started to play with 1889's icon, in an attempt to make it more visible. The second one is about the same as 1889's, except that I centered it a bit more and changed the color scheme - two colors of red, a lighter shade in the middle, with a darker shade outlining it. In the first one, I thickened the cross. The third one is the same as the first, except that there I removed the background.
The fourth is my own idea - a desert island. We're lost boys, after all, so why not lose outsevles on a deserted island?

I've been Carthage twice in the DGs, I'm Carthage in a NES, but I still can't get enough of them. The civgroup looks fine, and the Vampire theme is fine as well, but I still think we need a better name.
