Hmm. It can either be me or OPD or UnOrthOdOx, depending on who usually does such things (game starter/organizer versus game admins). I'm happy to. Or if you usually assign a 'staff member' to this position, i suggest either Lord Nuclear or OctavianX.

Oh, and I think the admins shouldn't be members of any civgroups ... so they don't have any inside info if they have to get involved in the game somehow (like if a team drops out and we can't find a replacement immediately, or if they have to make an administrative decision that could be affected by strategy information) ... but if it's normal for them to be members that's fine.

Hmm... OPD, I believe we decided that the admins would *skip* turns rather than play them (unless it was as i described above that a team totally dropped out or something), so it wouldn't be useful to know the forums that way. I think the private forums should remain private ...

and where else are we going to whine about decisions of the game admins anyway?

It's usually up to each team to decide whether to let anyone in, what you say about insider info is probably a good point though

yes i figured it out eventually, i didn't know about the little dropdown menu down there

I can't do any of the other things though (deleting thread/post/etc.) ... I assume that's intentional?

Oh, and I haven't figured out how to approve authorization-waiting members yet ...
