The current "pictures of sad looking old white guys" is a bit annoying.

I'll stick with AppleChe for a while, although Hasselhoff will come out to play now and then.

You've gotta view the user profile to be guaranteed a look at their avatar. Which is a real pain in the ass, since avatars are how I recognize most posters (I mean, "guynemer"? WTF does that mean? But "Cowbell Guy" is a name I can live with), especially with posters who have similar names (how can I easily tell "Ming" apart from "Minq" if not for the fact that Ming has the stuffed-Kermit-having-doggy-style-sex-with-another-stuffed-animal avatar, or at least he ought to have that avatar, while "Minq" has an inferior avatar, like whatever avatar Ming currently has, yeah, that's right, I'm saying that Ming's current avatar is worse than the stuffed-Kermit-having-doggy-style-sex-with-another-stuffed-animal avatar)?

In that case, my favorite avatar is the giant eye of Laz... sometimes it gives me the creeps, sometimes it makes me laugh, plus it seems to follow you as you scroll through a forum.
