Yeah it is. The threshold gets lower the more you've done and depending on who you've done it to. I speak from experience. There is no conspiracy or vendetta. What happens is that the moderators get fed up with particular behaviour and make it impossible to continue it with repeated bans until you just get pissed off enough and stop it. The fact that they basically tell people this should clue you in.

Think of some of the other frequent bannees. There must be a bad-boy list somewhere. I know I was on it for a while, and probably still am.

You guys are welcome to your opinion... but the forums are not the place to whine about moderating. If you have a problem, take it up via PM with the owners or mods... that's the rule.

Yes, it is worse if you are continually break the rules and ignore mod warnings. Somebody who breaks the rules once... listens to the warning, and stops doing it, is FAR different than somebody who continues to break the rules and continually ignores mods warning.

The repeat offender WILL be treated more harshly and be held to different standards. And that is because the person has earned that by being a constant pain in the neck to this site. It's that simple. If you don't like it... tough... this is not a democracy.

So if you want to continue whining about it, do it by PM so it doesn't clutter up these forums...

Get back on topic... because if the discussion on moderating continues, we have other ways of ending it.
