Heya, MarkG needs a forum admin for the forums here. UnO is the choice of several of us who were discussing this, but he was having computer issues, and I haven't seen him around much still, so we wanted to put this to a vote.

Please choose the player you want for forum mod. This means just someone who can move threads around, sticky them, etc. - not a big deal, really, but nonetheless something we should take seriously.

Why not make all of the above 3 to mods ?
For example, if one is away and something needs to be done quickly, some of the other 2 may still address the issue.

I will ask MarkG. I don't think it's necessary to have more than one mod *for the forum*, as the forum just doesn't have anything vital to be done ... you're not really ever doing anything other than stickying threads and closing them...

But i'll ask anyway.

One clarification though....if you're a moderator in a forum, you're also a moderator in all subforums (something we learned in the original ISDG). Snoop is obviously the one who is here the most, but he is part of a team where the others aren't.

I voted for him since he is not the type to use that for anything untoward (plus he's on my team so I'm not affected anyway ), but I just thought it should be known that the moderator options work that way.

I'm not sure how to vote. I like the idea of more than one. And despite snoop's upstanding qualities, it would probably be better if it was someone not on a team. Why not go with both Uno and OPD?

2 or more mods is not a problem as far as I know. The ISDG games have upwards of 5 or 6 mods in the forums.

Already did at the same time as I PMed Mark. It's not like them to delay this long - perhaps they have something on.

Unless things're urgent, we'll give it another few days and if nothing's happened by the end of the weekend I'll try some other options.

And UnO's right - that is until the total responsibility for keeping things going is mine, then I 'have a computer crash' and leave it up to someone else.
