I would slightly change the path. Philosophy gives only one advance, while Great Library can help get many more advances. Plus it gives a lot of culture points. Culture makes more sure that some border cities would not flip.
Pottery
Writing
Literature
I think that the capital city might bulid granary and then start Pyramids, which would be later switched to Great Library.

We can attempt smth different - "turn off" the research till finding the Education advance. This will help a lot to economy and allow us to build very efficiently much more infrastructure - facilities by hurrying them. Research off should not make us weak, as I do not think others would also be weak to the point that all the advances would be possesed by only one civ. It is enough when 2 civs have some advance then we just get it for free. When finally education gets discovered - we push for research.

I agree with the above
I am staunchly against building the G. Library. Nothing says bullseye like that. Add in the SoZ, assuming we will build it, and we are looking at an early 2x1 from the wrong side.
