Turn 9, for real this time: The Nukes are Everywhere, I tell you, Everywhere!
For the first time ever, no new cities were built. Fortunately, the now-unemployed contractors would soon scumb to radiation posioning, thanks to this turn's hostilities.
In the realm of Spies, Paramir sent a spy at Smiley, preventing the construction of the city of Straw Bale.
Not to be outdone, however, Skanky Burns sent out three spies. He sent a spy to Smiley, although Paramir's spy beat him to the punch. Skanky also sent a spy at Paramir... this turns out to be fortunate for Smiley, as Paramir had a planned attack of 4 nukes on Smiley. Skanky's third spy went to Exodus, which was lucky for Skanky, as Exodus was planning to fire 2 nukes at Skanky.
However, even with all the espionage activity, the five players whose orders were carried out launched a combined 16 nukes and destroyed 3 more players. Vlad Antlkerkov started by firing three nukes at Kassiopeia, turning parts of the keyboard realm of Kassiopeia into molten plastic. Meanwhile, Kassi had managed to fire 1 nuke at Paramir and 1 nuke at Exodus Pheoni. These two mere nukes would play a critical role in the destruction of two people, as Exodus was also targeted by Skanky Burns with four nukes, and Paramir was attacked with four nukes from Jaguar, resulting in both Paramir and Exodus becoming thoroughly WASTED. Smiley thought that he would be able to survive one more turn, thanks to Paramir's launch orders being sabotaged, but a salvo of three nukes from Comrade Tassadar destroyed Smiley's building materials industries.
Everyone was too busy destroying their peers to work on any secret projects.

Turn 10: There ain't nothin' like a good old-fashioned Docpile!
On this turn, no cities were built, no spies were sent out, no one stockpiled nukes or trained spies or built bunkers... it was just firing nukes and hiding from them... like it was in the old days, before all of these high-tech deflectors and spy-gizmos came around.
The de facto target, as it turns out, was none other than Vlad Antlerkov. Skanky, Jaguar, and Tassadar all sent two-packs of nukes at him, and his five cities had no way of defending themselves against the 6 incoming nukes.
Meanwhile, in the brief time before he died, Vlad managed to fire off two nukes at Kassiopeia, in an effort to take someone with him off of the face of the planet, but Kassi had bunkered, rendering Vlad's efforts fruitless. It was simply a bad day all around for Vlad.
