Some rebuilding, as expected. Both Hercules and Spaced built new bases. Paddy built ships.

Herc struck first, launching his fleet at Spaced. Well, part of his fleet, in fact, just 4 laserdreadnaughts and 5 laser frigates, a total of 21 laserpower, just enough to edge out the Cowboy, whose entire armada awaited.

Herc fired lasers again, knocking out a Spaced dreadnaught. The next four rounds consisted of some uneasy surveillance as both sides waited to see what would happen after the lazors recharged.

Rather than press the attack though, Herc simply moved in and captured a base.

Paddy also decided it was time to pick on the weak guy, and sent a fleet at Spaced as well. He also chose to fight to the death, not like it was really necessary.

Although his ships were all wasted, Spaced somehow got his **********ING LAZORS AND **** to keep on firing for another round. Paddy did the same, and blew the heck out of Spaced's fleet. The concentrated firepower opened a rift in the galactic continuum, and swallowed up the molten debris.

I think I thought 'to the death' with Spaced hence the 21 v 20 but didn't order it.

It would be interesting to know if Paddy said 'attack Space' or attack whoever was there.
