They (Mouth Music) were a loose collective of Scots singers and musicians who performed updated and traditional version of Scots and other folk songs in the original Gaelic and English.
The 'mouth music' refers to the Scots Gaelic phrase 'puirt a beul' or mouth music, which just means 'singing' as opposed to music with instruments.
I heartily recommend them to you.

Are those real songs, or just made up titles?

Sir, you jest! I've just been going through my large collection of c.d.s which have been in storage since I've been away, and making sure the list is up to date (for insurance purposes). So naturally, I'm playing Alpha C. at the same time, then looking at the track listings, I have a compendious memory....et voila!
It helps to pass the time, and I like lists.... and no, I'm not single, I have a clear complexion, and have been out of the house more than once in the past five months.
