So - we settle the two new cities.

I will rename workers as Worker 1 to 3, or A to C. Any preferences.

Warriors I will call Warrior Name. Suggestions?

Western warrior moves???? 4??

Eastern warrior 6 ?? After city is built, and there are no surprises.

Workers road , or should one road (3 turns) and the other move to help irrigation?

And city builds??? Babylon is building a warrior right now. I think we need a few more of those. Any thoughts?

If no surprises move east warrior (Gunther?) east. Warrior in Babylon

West warrior(Cain?)- see if anything is near the city, if there are no surprises continue exploring

If the intention is to name a unit after me, it should be "Jon".

Instead of tieing up screen shots for cities, just note the worked locations in the standard code used for Apolyton's C3DGs and the build queue.

Got the save. From the demographics and the score, it looks like two teams settled in their first turn. Also, the teams before us did not build a second or third city yet:

Land Area: 900 sq.m. --> Third
Population: 12,000 --> Third


We have an approval rating of 50% (everybody = content), but are only 6th. This would mean all the other 5 civs have settled on (or connected via road) a luxury?! (or they are running more than 0% luxuries...)

We have a GNP of 5 million, but are only 4th. This means, since everyone has one city, 3 civs got even better starts than we did!

Anyone not founding any cities yet = 100% happiness

This does indicate we have a 0% chance of getting a free settler when the new city pops the GH.

Turn Played.

Cities founded - Inanna's Throne to the east, and Plains of Ashur to the north. (names can be changed).

And ....we got Warrior Code from the hut.

And ... another hut to the north.

Workers renamed the imaginative BW1 and BW2 for bab workers 1 and 2. The third is working and will be renamed later. BW1 is roading. BW2 moved north to help complete the cows tile.

East warrior named Gunther and he moved east. He can spot the coast to the south.

West warrior named Cain and he moved west.

We are at 7 gold and running at 0gpt. Pottery in 5.

The pics are in the next turn thread.

Pretty middle of the road with some good growth upside. Doubtful all the other civs got a nice river tile start like us.

It really emphasizes the importance of early game decision making. Small errors create the seperation of a leading civ from the pack.

Edit: Just saw the more recent ones. We went from middle to top due to our growth. It's a good start.
