	Refugee Crisis in Vox! FIFA formed! Master Zen Wanted! Tired of ads?

A serious refugee crisis has developed in Vox Controli following the recent Lego-GoW-GS war. At first it was just isolated stories and rumours, and then the occasional grainy photo such as this:

Pretty soon it was clear that Vox was being over-run by refugees fleeing the recent war in Lego. Demands were being placed on homeowners, business, and all levels of government services. Something had to be done before a serious public backlash developed.

Here the newcomers have taken over the front of a building on Immortal Avenue in the capital.

Controller Beta reacted quickly, and Minister of the Interior, Rhothaerill, was assigned to head up the Federal Initiative for Feline Affairs, otherwise known as FIFA. Its purpose was to manage the overall response to the refugee crisis and to mobilize Voxian agencies and resources more quickly, and more effectively, before things got out of hand.

Some in government and the press felt this was Beta's way of further sidelining his ex-rival by giving him a portfolio that was seen to be peripheral to the real business of running Vox. But those close to Beta claim his concern was genuine, and related stories of felines befriending Beta during the dark years in a Voxian prison.

Whatever the reason, Vox Controli was swinging in to full response mode - which is a good thing as this picture from a downtown square in Panama Vox will show. It was snapped just minutes before the local dog was chased from the square.

But Voxian authorities did not stop at merely addressing needs of the refugees. Yes, Tender Vittles and Puss'n'Boots cat food poured in from donors, as fleece jackets and blankets for warmth, and many cat toys for the youngsters.

But what was behind the crises. There had been the rumours and press reports of kittens being targeted by GoW bombers during the war, but that was almost so laughable that it was dismissed. But doubts persisted, and the Voxian Senate wanted answers.

For this, they called on the Vox Secret Sevice. The VSS in turn, called on one of their most trusted agents, who will only be known as Agent X. (un-named sources say he goes by the code name of 'Squeak', but few details of either him, or the VSS are known.

What we do know is that the mission was to infiltrate the new GoW territory on Legoland, and see if the cause of this crises could be identified, and set to rights.

And we do have a old photo of Agent X at the VSS training facilities:

And these are the highlights from Agent X's findings, as made public by Voxian authorities yesterday...

Warning: the following pictures are disturbing. Do not proceed if you are faint of heart.

Proceeding across neutral territory, and being careful to avoid snakes and hawks, Agent X entered silently into the new GoW city The Hive. What he found seriusly affected him, even being the experienced agent he was.

He found them scared out of their wits and hiding for their lives. This poor soul allowed her picture to be taken on the promise that we would not publish either a name or exact house in the city, She asked AgentX to see if her sister, who had fled 3 weeks earlier, had made it safely to Vox.

AgentX got the leads he needed, and following the trail, he scurried on to City 19.

Through diligent detective work, he was able to catch up to the perpetrator. This picture was taken just before Agent X took down the shooter with a vicious bite to the ear. The kitten escaped unharmed thanks to AgentX's heroics.

More importantly, you will recognize the hand on the gun.

Yes, it is indeed the hand of Master Zen !

Huge disclaimer ...

I want every one to know that this story was done tongue-in-cheek, and to add some spice to our game. I have 3 cats that I adore, and in no way do I condone, or would I suggest violence against animals. I am not suggesting MZ would either. This is for fun. The two cats in question are sleeping, FYI.

That being said, and as light-hearted as I was heading into this, I could not help but reflect on the tragic real-life persecutions that have plagued our history, and continue to this day. This was more thought-provoking than I expected.
