	I did it AGAIN! Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

YEAH!!!

As you know, I've been effective with officials of all kinds lately. I've been getting my ways. This is the best yet. Just today, I went to sign off my place because I have that new place, right? Now getting that new place was extremely fortunate, so fortunate I was willing to risk not having the money to pay this current place's rent. Because the contract says clearly, that I have to sign off this place 2 months before I leave. That means, that today I would sign it off, I would pay this months rent (already did), next months rent, and next months rent.

But I don't have that kind of money. 2 months extra rent. Because I got the new place in few hour notice. Anyway, I went to the landlordlady today to sign off the place and I had a goal. To get one month off. Guess what happened? I ended up having BOTH MONTHS OFF! W00t!!!!!! That means, I don't have to pay ANYTHING anymore and I get to live to the end of this month in this apartment, making my moving easier.

UNBELIEVABLE! She didn't have to cut that money off. In fact, in here it's difficult to make that deal because people hang on to their money. I was, again, in 5 minutes time, the champion of the world and the best guy. How did I do it? I'm just so freaking good man! I didn't threaten to kill her, I didn't suggest sexual favours, I just talked my way out of it, and I didn't even have to argue about it! I was very.. persuasive. lol I'm a pimp... true player. This is true. You do the same in here, in this country, with this short notice, and I buy you a beer. Even my dad couldn't believe it. I mean he did, but he was like 'wtf??!'. just saved 650 euros. Well not really, because I don't have that money.

Then I got a pizza, because I thought I would celebrate this. I ordered the pizza, and put the change in poker machine. Well guess what. I was playing 1 euro with 20 cent stake, that means 5 rounds, and with the last round, 4 of the kind! I got it and theen continued playing.. FULL HOUSE! Anything I did today ended up working more than what I wanted! So in other words, I ended up getting that pizza free with that winning money and few euros left. IN YOUR FACE!!! I'm the maNB!

Pekka, I´m a born pessimist. It´s a ***** sometimes, but at least I´m never dissapointed. I´m either satisfied that I was right (it sucked) or I´m pleasently surprised (it didn´t suck)...

yeah.. I guess that can work too, of course if it keeps in limits.. and if that pessimism doesn't forbid you from trying things and making your best effort so it doesn't have too much of an effect to the result.

MarkG, Yes i was very surprised.. I wasn't even expecting to have them all off, I was HOPING to get one off by her grace. Damn it. Now I feel good but I feel guilty. You see what this socialist country does to people? I shouldn't feel guilty, I didn't lie to her. I know, I will go and get something nice to her and on the last of this month when I return my key, I will also leave a present of some kind. Maybe a bottle of wine, something nice, she deserves it.

yes it is a must. She might find a new person by the end of the month to this place, but then again this is a .. bad deal for her, adn she didn't even argue with me so she was nice about it so.. I think I'm obligated to say thank you in some way she knows I appreciated her decision very much. Besides, comparing 650 euros worth of rent and some nice little gift, you know it can be a nice one too.

Besides I already celebrated, I ate the pizza . but.. I still feel lucky. As if someone would ask me 'WE HAVE NO TIME! The enemy is coming from behind and in front of us is the big minefield!' then I would stand up, finish my cig and say 'hey I don't even sweat about it', run through it without hitting a single mine. That's how lucky I feel right now. It can of course change every minute to bad luck, but then again it doesn't matter too much because so much good stuff has already happened so.. I'm expecting a little bad to balance it out!

Man, you lucked out Pekka. I've been in that situation myself a few times... and they never gave me the two months off.

They must have had a full house and had people on the waiting list to get in. Thats lucky.

yeah.. it's all about making it personal touch though.. you need to discover in the first 10 seconds what the person is like and decide your approach how to talk. Right now, I feel like I could take Trump to negotiation battle! BRING IT ON! I have better hair!
