Babylon 5: The Memory of Shadows Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

Anyone know anything about this. Is it a feature movie or a TV movie?

Here is the talk about it on IMDb

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0437842/

Seems a like just a lot of talk to me, but maybe someone here has ran across something more.

Put an end to popups!

Haven't heard too much about it either, other than it is in the works.

Recasting

Yeah, recasting this would be mostly retarded. It hasn't been that long since the series.

Got spare money?

I'd gotten the impression that it wasn't going to have a lot to do with the original characters anyway - something like the series that was supposed to come following 'legend of the Rangers'?

That said though I'd hope they wouldn't recast any of the originals.

Its definately a big screen movie and it looks like its going forward. We're actually getting close to the point where they would start shooting if things are going forward, so we should start hearing more information on it sometime soon. We know it definately had significant involvment from some of the Babylon 5 Characters, for instance JMS had to do a significant script rewrite after Richard Biggs (who played Doctor Franklin in the series) suddenly passed away.

A B5 Treatment on the big screen

That said, I don;t see it being hugely successful unless sold in a way to attract totally new viewers: B5 was awesome, but not a huge hit either.

That said, there is so much to work with in the B5 universe- I mean, huge anceitn civlizations deciding to just up and move can't erase everything.

Oh, and this series could have something to do not only with the Ranger's series, but Crusade as well- after all, the whole plot of crusade is essentially chasing after some memories of the Shadows.
