I don't know if this is relevent, but maybe our investments could yield a higher return if invested within the Gaian Union. If they have the terraforming already in place, we could invest in facilities for them to popboom, or maybe they could popboom some of our cities.

I'm gonna check the first aspect, the latter one has one slight problem... our cities wouldn't be able to handle more pop drone-wise. We need RecCommons, Treefarms and whatever.

Main problem is - everyone is building "red" units against Sparta right now. Not very profitable but a simple necessity.

Cash is more cost effective when spent on buildings than units. IF the Gaians can popboom a few cities, it will increase their production somewhat. A stronger Gaia would be usefull in this war. Unfortunately, our nation has not been growing for a while.

I intend to accept. This way we may be able to save our artifact for another tech. I strongly suspect sparta will be hunting for it once they see we are completeing our Net Node. If I was them that's what I would do.

We throw SotHB into the deal, too and they should do Neural Grafting towards MMI and BioEngineering.

We get Neural Grafting back and as soon as we can catch our breath, we switch our labs back on and do BioEng or MMI.

While you are at it, what is Chaos' opinion about talking to Sparta?


If they shouldn't be able to do Neural Grafting, well, I can't think of any short-term useful tech right now.
Better weapon: Non-linear-Math -> IntInt -> Cyberethics -> (Chaos Gun)
Better defense: AdvSubTheo -> Silksteel [but we don't need defenses, really...]

Anyway, Angels and Gaia should start their own tech leapfrog conference together with us - and we can always help out with ec if they need them. (We can also still do decent tech rates - and even better ones in a few years)
