ehh, if I can make a go of what I was handed in the Random Random PBEM then you should be able to do well in this one.

I understand about not being overly enthused about games where we get bad starts (one of the reasons the Sheila PBEM died). That's why it's always nice to have someone else look at the game to ensure that no one has a crappy start.

Since we've only played one turn so far I'm okay with starting over to make sure everyone has a fair start.

On the first turn is at least the propper moment to complain about a start. My reasoning is that I am about to spend quite a bit of time in a game, a commitment which may well go beyond a year. However, I'll take up the challenge (as I mentioned before). I'm not very keen on restarts anyway. In SP I have played the most exciting games with a crappy start. I might be lucky with the distribution of resources. Just had to express some of the dissappointment, not much of a pokerface...
