what good is money if you can't produce the weaponry required to wage war? If you go on GDP alone, fine, UK wins. But remember that we were brought to our knees by German subs in WW2. As soon as that happens...
Better question would be to compare the industrial output (ie steel, iron, electricity, amount of food produced within their borders, and the amount imported etc...) of the western European countries, to that of China, and see who wins... |
Hmmm...you seem to be a bit confused on these issues. If you go by GDP alone, China is actually number two in the world (or three, behind Japan, depending on which numbers you use) but it's them, not any western European country, that can't produce the weaponry required to wage war - or at least good weaponry. Britain, France, Germany, Russia and even Sweden have far greater capabilities to produce modern weapons systems than China.
As for all the output factors you mentioned, western Europe as a whole outproduces China in pretty much every category, again by a large margin.
