	tech trading - ? Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

McMeadows and I had a short discussion on tech trading, and would like to bring this up to the general forum.

We now have Bronze Working, that the BOH is currently developping, and Pottery, that DR still needs.

I will mention to Paddy and Ljube that we have BW, as it is a good faith thing to say and not giving too much away (a lot of civs have BW, undoubtedly, and they'll know soon that we have BW.)

Should we mention to DR that we have pottery? I have asked Aqua if he has any interest in further tech trades, but not mentioned pottery yet.

On the one hand, giving away knowledge of us having pottery means they know we have contact with BOH or someone who has contact with BOH, which helps there idea of where to explore quite a bit.

OTOH, waiting on pottery means BOH might find them and trade them pottery first. (Especially if we haven't given them BW first.)

I'd prefer not to mention pottery if there's nothing they have that we need - but ... will they tell us what they have if they don't think we have anything to trade them?

Hmm, yes let's try to get the info out of DR that they have something before mentioning what we have...but don't take too long. They likely only have that one warrior close to us, but they could have another warrior about and run into BOH.
