	Why the HELL WON'T THIS GAME RUN? Full PM-box? Change here!

I installed the original game, then the expansion... I have windows XP. The original game will run, the expansion will not.

I installed the patch for windows xp here ( http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy.../downloads.html ) and when I click to run the expansion, the program closes and nothing happens... I read the FAQ and I am lost... what the hell do I do?

Spent hours.... NOTHING is working, hell I don't even know if this is because I have XP but I think it is... when I run the shortcut and select the original game it runs fine, when I run the expansion, the program closes, no loading, no error, no hang up, NOTHING, it simply closes... HELP!

did you try a complete delete and reinstall of everything?

mine runs fine on XP. Though i havn't played in a while, so maybe the service pack thing did something.

Trying making a shortcut of the Terranx.exe on the desktop. Use this shortcut from the desktop to get it running.....this is what I have to do.

I accidentally installed SP2, I think heh . I have never played it on this comp before.

Edit: The ORIGINAL game works fine, its the expansion that won't... terran.exe starts up the original game, as far as I can tell there is no executable specifically for the expantion, you need to go through the executable that makes you choose between the 2... when I choose crossfire, it closes.

terranx.exe is the executable for the expansion.
