Cool, Jdd will play!!! We have 8 people now for a daily league and thats enough, but we will give Moral Hazard until Sunday afternoon to find us 2 more people (I'm playing golf Sunday and will be back around 6 PM central so you can post the results of your search Sunday).
Jdd, when setting your roster at Yahoo you can use their scheduling - the top border with the days of the week above your player's section - to set your roster for each upcoming day. I believe its possible to set your roster 3-4 days or even more in advance. For example, if you set your roster Sunday night, you can set the players who play Monday and sit the guys who rest that day and then click on Tuesday and set a new roster for that specific day, and so on. The main problem is with pitchers because sometimes they get their starts bumped so I suggest checking your roster, especially pitchers, every other day just to make sure your pitchers didn't get rescheduled.
MHazard, we cant go with just 1 person so if you can find 2 who will register here at Poly and join that would be great. The draft will be conducted here and I will start a new thread MONDAY for the draft. If you want to cancel your search for other people, thats fine too. We can go with 8 or 10...
The draft will start WEDNESDAY and I will post a draft order MONDAY, but once the order is posted the top people dont have to wait until Wednesday. They can start picking right away but BAPAYs wont start until Wednesday.

Post any serious objections to what is listed, if we drop a category from hitting or pitching we should drop 1 from the other so we keep batting with 1 more category.
I had to add holds and K/BB to balance the offensive categories. We can go with K/9 inn if you like, but I think it would be nice to have 1 extra category devoted to Ks since Ks and BBs can negate each other occasionally. Pitch alot and you get more Ks but you get more walks too and its frustrating to have a bunch of strikeouts only to lose the BBs category , so K/BB rewards strikeout pitchers.
I put a 22 minimum Innings pitched to help ensure people throw starters instead of relying on relievers.

MHazard, if you want to go with 8 we can do that, up to you. I was only hoping you could find some people when it looked like we were stuck at 7 people, but Jdd is in so we got enough now.
EVERYONE, look closely at the categories and make suggestions if you see something you find really objectionable. I wanted to go with doubles, triples and homers instead of total bases but that meant adding another pitching category and I was already pressed to find pitching categories to use. We can drop holds and K/BB and go with something like innings pitched, GIDP, or something. I kind of like the idea of rewarding strikeout pitchers and all they allow is K/BB and K/9 inn, but I figured K/BB is better since it reflects control. I will need to set the final categories around Monday so people know what to draft for...

but it doesnt sound like he's game for that.
No time and the other prefers baseball challenge on ESPN. I sent out a few emails to others I played in the past and posted on another forum (ootpdevelopments.com). So we will definitly get somebody, first come first serve.
