During the 80's, Soviet Estonians could get Finnish TV, and with it, decadent capitalist Finnish TV commercials. Since it just wouldn't do for good Soviet citizens to see that there was actually stuff on the stores in non-people's republics, they decided to put out some commercials of their own for Soviet pseudo-consumer goods.

That is one of the most surreal commercial I have ever seen. People have surely lost their minds after seeing that. Awesome commercials

That chicken commercial could easily be re-used to promote vegetarianism rather than eating mincemeat...

Whoever directed these masterpieces seems to have also had a fascination with the Beatles, whose songs feature in the car starting kit and the anti-tobacco commercial. And for something wonderfully strange, check the boullion commercial (Puljong) - the Estonian muscle monster and the creepy engine oil -looking stuff they pour at the end really made it for me.

omg. there was so many things just wrong in the kana hakkliha commercial.. like a day of the horror. If you are making a commercial about chicken, why the hell do you show live chickens in it, the meat grinder, and what was the god damn horror sounds? AAARGHHHHHH!!!!!! The dude who made that must be truly sick in the head. Just disturbing.

I was thinking how those 'we're going to make you mad' videos work ala Clockwork Orange. I always doubted I would be not the one penetrated. Inside the head. My mind that is. Well, now I know. Seriously disturbing video. I can't put my fingers to it 100% what it is exactly, but the whole combination and the unknown factor makes it a horrible horrible video. Kana kana kana....
