Well, I hope though that it will make a return, because come next semester, I will need more books and thus it will be Amazon time once again, so I wouldn't mind helping the good ol' 'Poly that way if I can.

I can now say with considerable certainty that our affiliation with Amazon will resume. However, I cannot give any more than a rough estimate as to when this affiliation will resume; at this point, I would anticipate sometime within the next 2-4 weeks.

After my account reverted to regular status, the pm (-/-) link at the top of the page sent me to the PLUS signup page. Is this intentional? I was also able to retain my larger avatar...

I'd assume it was intentional, as that link is for PLUS-users only. And you get to keep the larger avatar as long as you don't remove it, and then put it back.
